To go or not to go? that is the question

In less than a week we have raised 105 defects. A great testing effort and thanks to all that have helped!

Right now we have 4 awaiting re-test and only 16 still in progress with dev team.

Our biggest problem is Microsoft!

Yes, no surprise, IE8 is causing us the most trouble. The dev team is getting there, but it makes you wonder what on earth Microsoft do with their applications to make them so hard to work with - especially their countless attempts at IE.

A lot of work still to do and approx 8 hours before we make "Go, No Go" decision.

We're in UAT

The software was dropped into Staging at a bit before 5pm yesterday.

We are having some issues with IE6 and IE8. At this stage it looks like a lot of the problems are browser related.

Some tidy up required to make the package easier to use and a bit more intuitive.

Overall pretty happy with where we are. 38 defects raised so far.

Final countdown!

We are now on the final countdown to staging and UAT.

R1 should be delivered to Testing this afternoon and we currently have 8 tester lined up for UAT!

Very excited to see what R1 looks like - I've only seen conceptual designs and story boards so far.

End of a good week

The week has gone from average to really good.

Development agreement now agreed

All static info delivered

In fact it's all going so well, I'm off to Byron for the weekend!

Need a few more tester, but I'll worry about that on Tuesday.

Todays plans...

Today we need to finalise all the T&Cs and legal copy. Fun, fun, fun!

All legal copy must be ready to drop by tomorrow.

Design 95% there

The design for Release 1 is about 95% there. some final tweaks and we're ready for UAT next week.

Once we sign off on the design the code will be dropped into the template and hopefully it will all fit...

Sponsorhip has fallen through

Our preferred sponsorship partner has surprised us and will not be pursuing this opportunity. Less than a week to come up with Plan B.

Working to secure launch competition sponsorship. This is proving harder than you may expect!

Need to get sponsorship nailed down by 23 June to allow designers enough time to put together marketing creatives.

Static copy

Today we completed most of the static copy and e-mail text.

All text has now been delivered to the developers for final drop once the design is completed and signed off.
